Job Overview
AVTAC Industrial Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Sheet Metal Helper to support production and fabrication operations. The ideal candidate will assist machine operators, welders, and fabricators in handling materials, operating equipment, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
This role is suitable for freshers as well as candidates with up to 2 years of experience in fabrication or sheet metal manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in cutting, bending, drilling, and shaping sheet metal components.
- Support fabrication and production teams in daily operations.
- Load and unload raw materials such as metal sheets and plates.
- Assist operators working on laser cutting, CNC bending, punching, and shearing machines.
- Hold, position, and move materials during welding and fabrication processes.
- Help in measuring, marking, and preparing materials according to drawings and specifications.
- Perform basic finishing activities including grinding, deburring, and cleaning.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of machines and work areas.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Assist in packing, handling, and dispatching finished products.
- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of tools and equipment.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of sheet metal fabrication is preferred.
- Ability to safely handle tools and machinery.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting materials and standing for extended periods.
- Team-oriented with a willingness to learn new skills.
- Basic knowledge of measurements and dimensions (mm/inches).
- Strong discipline, punctuality, and work ethic.
Educational Qualification
- Minimum Qualification: 8th Pass / 10th Pass
- ITI (Fitter, Welder, or related trade) will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- 0–2 years of experience in sheet metal, fabrication, manufacturing, or workshop environments preferred.
Work Environment
- Factory and workshop-based role.
- Physically active job involving standing, lifting, and material handling.
- Overtime opportunities may be available based on production requirements.
