Job Description: Ancor Research Labs LLP is seeking a highly skilled Robotics Engineer to join our Research & Development (R&D) team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing robotic systems and automation solutions. This role requires expertise in robotics, control systems, and AI-driven automation technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement robotic systems for various applications.
- Conduct research on robotics technologies, including AI, machine learning, and computer vision.
- Develop and test control algorithms for robotic movements and automation.
- Integrate hardware components such as sensors, actuators, and microcontrollers.
- Collaborate with the software team to develop embedded systems and firmware.
- Troubleshoot and improve existing robotic prototypes and systems.
- Document designs, test results, and technical specifications.
- Stay updated with emerging trends and advancements in robotics and automation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- 2 – 5 years of experience in robotics development, automation, or R&D.
- Proficiency in robotics programming languages such as Python, C++, or MATLAB.
- Experience with ROS (Robot Operating System), embedded systems, and microcontrollers.
- Knowledge of machine learning, AI, and computer vision is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with robotic hardware, sensors, and actuators.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an R&D environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with CAD software for robotic design.
- Understanding of kinematics, dynamics, and motion control algorithms.
- Familiarity with industrial automation and IoT applications.
