Job Overview
Extentia Information Technology is looking for an experienced Legal and Compliance Manager to oversee contract management, regulatory compliance, and legal risk mitigation. This role requires strong expertise in commercial law, data protection regulations, and corporate legal strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate domestic and international commercial agreements including RFPs, work orders, NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, and DPAs
- Provide legal guidance and risk management support aligned with business objectives
- Negotiate favorable legal and commercial terms with clients, vendors, and business partners
- Protect company interests through strong contract drafting and compliance measures
- Conduct legal risk management training for senior leadership
- Coordinate with external legal advisors when required
- Advise on legal frameworks such as GDPR, CCPA, DPDPA, and employment regulations
- Implement best practices in compliance, intellectual property, data privacy, and litigation
Required Skills
- 13–15 years of experience in legal and compliance roles
- Strong knowledge of contract law and regulatory compliance
- Experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
- Ability to identify legal risks and provide practical solutions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in legal training and corporate governance
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB)
Preferred
- Experience in mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, and corporate transaction support
