Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Designer (2D Designer) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating accurate technical drawings for furniture, fixtures, and interior projects while collaborating closely with our production team to ensure seamless execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed 2D technical drawings and layouts for furniture, fixtures, and interior projects using AutoCAD.
- Develop and maintain design documentation for both standard and customized products.
- Coordinate with the factory and production teams to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable.
- Ensure all drawings align with available materials, machinery, and production requirements.
- Revise and update drawings as needed based on project requirements and feedback.
- Manage multiple design assignments while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a 2D Designer, Draftsman, or AutoCAD Designer in the furniture, interior design, or manufacturing industry.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
- Knowledge of SketchUp or other design software will be an added advantage.
- Good understanding of materials such as wood, metal, laminates, and related manufacturing processes.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects efficiently.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with a furniture manufacturing unit or retail interior design company.
- Familiarity with production-oriented design and technical detailing.
