Deventure Hotel & Resort is seeking a Duty Manager and Guest Relation Executive with experience in IDS software to join our team.
Key Responsibilities of a Duty Manager Front Office:
- Staff Supervision: Lead and supervise the front desk team, assigning tasks and monitoring performance. Train new staff on front office procedures and policies. Address staff concerns and performance issues. Manage staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage during peak times.
- Guest Service: Greet and register arriving guests, providing a warm welcome and efficient check-in process. Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally, including room assignments, amenities, and local information. Resolve guest complaints and concerns in a timely and courteous manner, escalating to management when necessary. Ensure guest departures are processed smoothly with accurate billing.
- Operational Management: Monitor front desk operations to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation. Manage cash transactions, ensuring accuracy and proper reconciliation. Oversee the management of keycards and room availability. Respond to emergencies and security issues, coordinating with relevant departments.
- Communication and Coordination: Communicate effectively with other departments within the hotel to ensure smooth guest experience. Maintain accurate guest information and records in the property management system. Provide shift updates to incoming Duty Managers regarding any outstanding issues or guest concerns.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Knowledge and Experience of IDS Software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to handle unexpected situations.
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in guest information and transactions.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of hotel operations, front office procedures, and property management systems.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry is preferred
