Job Summary: As a Front Office Executive, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic’s front desk. You will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and efficient environment for patients and visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Patient Reception and Registration:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Register new patients and update existing patient information accurately.
- Verify insurance details and process necessary paperwork.
- Appointment Management:
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring efficient clinic flow.
- Manage appointment cancellations and rescheduling.
- Maintain accurate appointment records.
- Communication and Customer Service:
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Provide information about clinic services, procedures, and policies.
- Address patient concerns and resolve issues effectively.
- Handle patient feedback in a professional manner.
- Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain and organize patient files and records.
- Handle billing and payment processing.
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail and faxes.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
- Coordination:
- Coordinate with medical staff and other departments to ensure smooth patient flow.
- Assist in maintaining inventory of office supplies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Front Office Executive, Receptionist, or similar role in a healthcare setting preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- A positive and empathetic attitude.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus.
