Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹35,000 a month
Charge Nurse
Reports to the Nursing Director through nursing supervisor.
- Registers Maintenance:
Maintain all registers i.e., Attendance Register, Admission Registers, Duty Roster, Front book, Inventory book Crash cart check list, Quality Indicator Registers, Narcotic Book, MRD Register. - Daily Rounds:
Make Daily rounds in each bedside, check all things are working or not ie., Ventilators, o2 cycled suction, Monitors, Defibrillators, Laryngoscopes, Each machine, pulse generators, IABP machine, Syringe Pumps, Warmers, Infusion pumps steths, B.P.Operators, Incubation trays, CVP tray ICCD trays, cath trays. - Manpower:
Ensure the Manpower Requirement. - Training:
Ensure that adequate training is given to the staff. - Discipline & Coordination:
To maintain discipline & Co ordination staff working in the CTICU/ICCU. - Orientation & Training:
To give orientation & Training to the CT ICU/ICCU staff. - Competency Assessment:
Assessment of their competency level and submit to HR through nursing educator with approval of Nursing HOD. - Staff Allocation:
Allocation of nursing staff based on their competency levels. - Linen Quality:
Check the quality of linen coming from laundry, check the linen requirements needed for CTICU/ICU. - Infection Control:
To keep a check infection control CTICU/ICU. - Protocols/Procedures:
Follow the department protocols/procedures. - Additional Duties:
Perform all or any of the duties which may be asked by the supervisor/Director as per exigencies at work.
