Job Summary:

The Staff Nurse is the first level professional Nurse in the hospital set up. Therefore by appearance and by word she will be professional at all time. She will be skilled nurse, giving expert bed side care to patient and executing special technical duties in the special areas like operation theaters, intensive care unit, highly dependent unit etc. She also act as ‘de facto’ sister as and when situation arises in the ward or department.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to the patients and support to the doctors.
• Administer medicines and injections according to the time stated on their charts.
• Ready the patients before any surgical procedure and even talk to the family about the procedures.
• Ensure that all dietary requirements are followed by the patient.
• Ensure that patient is in a hygienic condition and should provide them with sponge baths everyday.
• Check on the patients during their rounds and even inform the other nurses when there is a change in the shift.
• Maintain good composure as patients can get serious any time and may have to be taken to the intensive care unit.
• Have a gentle touch as they are ones who conduct invasive procedures like placing on intarcath, catheter and giving injections.
• Ensure that charts of all the patients are accurate and up to date.

Requirements:

• Skilled in providing expert bed side care.
• Proficient in executing special technical duties in areas like operation theaters and intensive care units.
• Ability to administer medications and injections accurately.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and their families.
• Knowledge of dietary requirements for patients.
• Ability to maintain accurate patient charts.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹12,500.00 – ₹17,000.00 per month
