Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-page SEO and off-page SEO audits, and implement best practices to improve site performance.
- Perform keyword research, competitor analysis, and optimisation strategies using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Analytics, and Search Console.
- Optimise website content, meta tags, URL structure, internal linking, and overall site architecture.
- Collaborate with the content team to create SEO-friendly content, blog strategies, and landing pages.
- Build high-quality backlinks and manage outreach efforts.
- Monitor website traffic, rankings, and overall SEO performance using analytics tools.
- Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, Google algorithm updates, and industry changes.
- Conduct regular SEO performance reports and recommend improvements.
- Work with developers and designers to ensure technical SEO best practices are met.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience (1-3 years) as an SEO executive or similar role.
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with WordPress, Shopify, or other CMS platforms.
- Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS (basic understanding), and technical SEO concepts.
- Strong communication, analytical, and reporting skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Bonus if you have:
- Experience with local SEO or website SEO.
- Knowledge of content marketing and basic PPC strategies.
- Familiarity with tools like Screaming Frog, Moz, or Surfer SEO.
