Job Summary

Larsen & Toubro (L&T), a leading global technology, engineering, and construction conglomerate, is seeking an experienced Store Supervisor to oversee store operations at our Nabinagar, Gadarwara facility. The role involves managing inventory, material handling, and compliance with safety and quality standards, ensuring seamless operations for power plant components and project supplies. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in SAP MM, inventory management, and warehouse optimization to support L&T’s mission of delivering excellence in the engineering and construction sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily store operations, including receipt, inspection, and rejection of materials, ensuring compliance with gate-entry systems and documentation.

  • Manage material unloading, storage, and preservation, adhering to safety practices and OEM-specific guidelines.

  • Execute Goods Receipt Note (GRN) posting, transfer postings, and consumption processes in SAP MM.

  • Handle debit/credit notes, bill processing, transit insurance, e-Waybills, RGP, and NRGP documentation.

  • Maintain inventory control through perpetual inventory checks and selective stocktaking.

  • Ensure audit compliance for internal and external audits, liaising with legal and government authorities as needed.

  • Manage fuel operations, including tanker receipt, quality testing, decantation, underground tank (UGT) measurements, dispensing, and reconciliation.

  • Plan and develop warehouse infrastructure to meet project demands, optimizing space utilization and material storage.

  • Conduct thorough inspections of critical project supplies to ensure quality, safety, and operational readiness.

Required Qualifications

  • Mandatory Skills: Inventory management, SAP MM (Materials Management), MS Office, report analysis, documentation, and organization skills.

  • Tools/Platforms: SAP MM, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • In-depth knowledge of power plant components, project supplies, and their storage/preservation requirements.

  • Proven experience in warehouse infrastructure planning and material handling processes.

  • Strong understanding of fuel management processes, including quality testing and regulatory compliance.

Educational Requirements

  • Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Arts (B.A), Science (B.Sc), or Diploma in any specialization.

  • Certifications: SAP MM certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory systems and shelf-life management.

  • Familiarity with gazette notifications and legal compliance in material and fuel management.

  • Exposure to power plant or heavy engineering project environments.
