Location: Kochi
We are looking for a talented Software Developer to contribute to our current and upcoming Python/Django projects. Your primary responsibilities will include writing and modifying code to build websites and software, fixing errors, enhancing performance, and adding new features.
Responsibilities:
- You will work under a project manager on specific projects.
- At times, you may need to communicate directly with clients to clarify requirements not covered during the initial analysis.
- Success in this role requires extensive knowledge of Python and Django, strong communication skills, and a thorough understanding of the software development life cycle.
- Add new features to existing software/websites
- Modify software to fix errors and improve performance
- Report project/task status to the project manager
- Conduct developer-level testing and validations
- Collaborate with project managers, team members, and clients to analyze and implement features
- Analyze and implement assigned tasks after discussing with the technical architect
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Python/Django
- Proficiency with Django Rest Framework
- Experience with Django ORM and default template engine
- Familiarity with Docker, Elasticsearch, Celery, and caching frameworks
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery
- Experience with Angular or ReactJs is a plus
- Ability to write unit tests
- Strong communication skills
- Effective team player
