About the Role

Corpzo is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant / Financial Accountant Intern to join its Finance Department. This opportunity is ideal for fresh graduates who are eager to build a career in accounting and finance while gaining hands-on experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, compliance, and budgeting.

The selected candidate will work closely with the finance team to support day-to-day accounting operations and contribute to the organization’s financial management processes.

Key Responsibilities

General Ledger Management

  • Record and maintain financial transactions accurately in the general ledger.
  • Ensure all accounting entries are updated in a timely manner.

Account Reconciliation

  • Perform regular bank reconciliations and verify account balances.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records.

Month-End & Year-End Closing

  • Assist in preparing financial data for monthly and annual closing activities.
  • Support the generation of financial reports and statements.

Financial Reporting

  • Prepare and maintain accounting records and financial reports.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Budgeting & Forecasting Support

  • Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Help analyze variances between actual and projected figures.

Audit Assistance

  • Prepare required documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Coordinate with auditors and provide financial information when required.

Tax & Compliance Support

  • Assist in maintaining compliance with applicable tax regulations and financial requirements.
  • Support the preparation of tax-related documentation.

Financial Analysis

  • Analyze financial data and generate reports to support management decision-making.
  • Provide insights into financial performance and business trends.

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting procedures and operational efficiency.

Candidate Requirements

Educational Qualification

  • Undergraduate degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience

  • Freshers are encouraged to apply.
  • Knowledge of accounting practices will be an advantage.

Skills Required
