Job Overview: We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team in the freight forwarding department. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for our clients, ensuring their shipments are processed smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, possess strong problem-solving skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries related to shipments, quotes, delivery schedules, and general logistics.
  • Communicate proactively with clients regarding shipment status, delays, and any changes in service or schedules.
  • Provide timely and professional responses to customer emails, phone calls, and other communication channels.

Shipment Coordination:

  • Coordinate and monitor the movement of shipments from origin to destination, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Work closely with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth transport and timely delivery.
  • Assist with booking shipments and tracking shipments through their entire lifecycle.

Problem Resolution:

  • Identify and resolve issues and discrepancies that may arise during the shipping process.
  • Handle customer complaints or issues, providing effective solutions and keeping customers informed throughout the resolution process.
  • Ensure any delays, disruptions, or service issues are communicated promptly and appropriately.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer orders, shipments, and related documentation.
  • Provide regular status updates and reports to customers and internal teams regarding shipment progress.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining reports for billing, customs, and tracking purposes.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with sales, operations, and other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Support sales teams by providing timely information related to existing orders or prospective shipments.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring long-term business partnerships.
  • Assist in identifying customer needs and provide solutions to enhance service offerings.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure that all freight services comply with relevant international and local regulations, including customs and safety standards.
  • Stay up to date on changes in regulations or industry standards to advise customers accordingly.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹300,000.00 – ₹600,000.00 per year
