Job Overview: We are looking for a Customer Support Specialist to provide technical assistance and troubleshooting support to customers or internal teams. The ideal candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a customer-centric approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer queries via phone, email, or chat and provide timely resolution.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to [hardware/software/networking].
- Guide users through step-by-step solutions and escalate complex issues to higher-level teams.
- Document issues, resolutions, and customer interactions in the support system.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential problems.
- Assist in software installations, configurations, and updates.
- Collaborate with development and IT teams to improve products and services.
- Provide training and best practices to customers and internal employees.
Requirements & Skills:
- B.tech’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Mech,EEE, EC or a related field (preferred).
- years of experience in a technical support or IT helpdesk role.
- Strong understanding of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and software troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls) is a plus.
- Experience with remote desktop tools and support software.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Customer service-oriented mindset.
