- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills for diplomatically handling staff and customers.
- Professionalism: Must be polished, professional, friendly, and have the ability to multitask and take initiative in a fast-paced, high pressure, deadline driven environment.
- Guest Service: Excellent guest service skill.
- Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays.
- Responsiveness: An ability to listen and respond to demanding Guest needs.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Identify main client groups and audiences and determine the best way to communicate publicity information to them.
- Provide upscale guest service experiences for clients throughout their stay.
- Ensure Guests are properly greeted upon their arrival.
- Welcome guests during check-in and giving a fond farewell to guest while checkout.
- Handling guest complaints and concerns in an efficient and timely manner.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of dining room personnel to provide fast and courteous service to patrons.
- Draw up client bookings for tables and ensure that tables are set before clients arrival.
- Serve as the main point of contact for VIP Guests and ensure Restaurant staff are fully briefed on their requirements.
- Seek verbal feedback from customers on a regular basis and respond to all Guest queries in a timely and efficient manner.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of all facilities and services provided within the restaurant and identify opportunities for up-selling and promoting when appropriate.
- Schedules dining reservations and arranges parties or special services for diners.
- Manage the front desk by receiving incoming calls, greeting and attending to customers.
- Inform guests about the availability of tables and direct them to the tables.
- Keep records of guests who visit the restaurant.
- Inspects dining room serving stations for neatness and cleanliness, and requisitions table linens and other dining room supplies for tables and serving stations.
- Assist customers with answers to queries, and proffer solutions to issues within your capacity.
- Collaborate with other restaurant staff and the management to ensure that customer complaints are properly attended in a timely manner.
- Check restaurants emails and respond to them accordingly; draw the attention of management to certain mails when necessary.
- Communicate with other staff, such as dinners, informing them of clients bookings, needs and complaints.
- Establish friendly relationships with regular clients.
- Comply with restaurant security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation.
- Ensures that restaurant brand standards are consistently implemented.
