Important jobs and responsibilities of a Front Desk Executive:
- During check-in and check-out when the guest will arrive at the front desk please stand up and always greet and talk in a smile. Your attitude as a Front Desk Executive must be good and of a helping and assisting nature. On the other hand you have to be a very good listener for any sort of complaints and grievance from the guest side.
- For a Front Office Executive the working hours will be 10-12 hours with a 30 minutes break for lunch.
- The behavior of a Front Desk Executive must be good and rational towards guests and other colleagues for a better work environment.
- You should ask softly and receive advance payment from the client and if the guest denies to pay advance you must say that you cannot operate the system until the payment is done. Again your attitude towards the guests must be good and soft.
- During the time of checking each guest have to give there I.D. card (Aadhar Card, Voter card, Driving License or Passport) and you should photocopy it or ask the guest politely to share it on our designated hotel WhatsApp. At the time of check out you should take review by sending our guests the review mail via email and also gently ask them to make google review about hotel.
- At the time of check out you should take review from the guests and also politely ask the guest for a genuine google review.
- Last but not the least you have to be very much presentable as you have to interact with the guests. You have to be clean shaved and also wear proper formal dress during your duty hours.
