Patient Care and Assessment:

• Monitoring and Assessing Patient Conditions: Regularly observing patients for any changes in their condition, vital signs, and overall well-being.
• Administering Medications and Treatments: Accurately administering prescribed medications, treatments, and injections, while monitoring for any adverse reactions or side effects.
• Wound Care and Dressing Management: Providing proper wound care, changing dressings, and monitoring for signs of infection.
• Assisting with Medical Procedures: Assisting doctors with medical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Maintaining Accurate Patient Records: Keeping detailed and accurate records of patient assessments, treatments, and progress.

Patient Education:

• Educating patients and their families about their conditions, treatment plans, and post-hospital care instructions.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Communicating Effectively: Communicating clearly and effectively with patients, families, doctors, and other healthcare professionals.
• Coordinating with Multidisciplinary Teams: Collaborating with various healthcare professionals, such as physicians, therapists, and other nurses, to provide comprehensive and coordinated care.
• Responding to Emergencies: Responding promptly and effectively to emergency situations, providing immediate care and support.

Ward Management and Support:

• Ensuring Adherence to Protocols: Adhering to hospital protocols, policies, and standards of care.
• Managing Patient Admissions, Discharges, and Transfers: Overseeing the smooth and efficient process of patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Handling Medical Equipment and Supplies: Properly handling, maintaining, and managing medical equipment and supplies.
• Providing Emotional Support: Providing emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during challenging times.
• Participating in Continuing Education: Staying up-to-date with the latest nursing practices and techniques through continuing education and training programs.
