Position Review:
As a Software Development Engineer with a focus on Python and Django, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications that align with our commitment to excellence. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that enhance our clients’ business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Python and Django.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers to define and implement new features that deliver high business value.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to integrate them into projects.
- Document processes, code, and systems to enhance team efficiency and quality.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-6 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Python and Django.
- Proficient understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM frameworks.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with RESTful API development.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
