Job Description:

We are looking for a technically proficient Python Programming intern to join us.

To excel in this job role, you should be excellent in Scripting languages like Unix/Linux, Python and OOPs programming languages (Scala preferable) with understanding of back-end database like Exadata/SQL server databases etc.

Job Role:

  • Develop high quality, secure and scalable scripts and data pipelines using Python programming language.
  • Build automation and efficiency in Data ingestion, data movement, data access and data transfer workflows by innovation and collaboration.
  • Participate in the entire software development life-cycle, building, testing and delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex problems.
  • Leverage new technologies and approaches to innovate with increasingly large data sets.
  • Work with project team to meet scheduled due dates, while identifying emerging issues and recommending solutions for problems.
  • Perform assigned tasks and production incident independently.
  • Contribute ideas to help ensure that required standards and processes are in place and actively look for opportunities to enhance standards and improve process efficiency.
  • Work with the team as well as an individual contributor to drive efficient deliveries.

Skills Required:

  • In-depth understanding of the Python software development stacks, ecosystems, frameworks and tools such as Numpy, Pandas, Django and Flask
  • Experience with front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL.
  • Excellent problem-solving ability with solid communication and collaboration skill.
  • Should be technically strong and have strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Contributions to open-source Python projects or active involvement in the Python community.

Qualifications:

BCA, MCA, BE, B.Tech or similar education level or certification.
