Job Overview:
We are seeking an SEO Analyst/Executive to join our startup, responsible for both directing a small SEO team and taking a hands-on approach. The ideal candidate must have a deep understanding of SEO, with the ability to logically analyze and execute strategies, focusing on long-term positioning and competitiveness rather than simply executing standard SEO tasks like link-building.
Key Responsibilities:
- SEO Strategy Development & Execution: Develop and implement data-driven SEO strategies that align with business goals, with a focus on achieving competitive positioning in the market.
- Backlink Strategy & Analysis: Rather than focusing on merely building backlinks, the candidate should understand why backlinks are necessary, how to structure an effective backlink strategy, and how to measure and analyze the impact of these strategies. The emphasis will be on strategic planning and maximizing ROI.
- SEO Our service and Competitor Analysis: Continuously analyze competitors to understand their SEO positioning, identify gaps, and develop strategies to improve our positioning relative to theirs.
- Lead a small team of SEO professionals, organizing and prioritizing tasks while ensuring efficient team collaboration. The candidate must also be hands-on and willing to put in the most effort when necessary.
- Work closely with the team to define clear SEO metrics (KPIs, KGIs) and establish benchmarks for success. Lead the effort to monitor, analyze, and optimize SEO performance to ensure maximum return on investment.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Team Direction & Organization:
- Setting & Achieving KPIs, KGIs, and ROI:
- Proven experience (3+ years) in SEO with a strong emphasis on strategic planning and execution.
- Deep understanding of how to logically analyze SEO metrics and implement effective strategies.
- Expertise in using SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console, Semrush) to drive insights.
- Competitor analysis and positioning experience.
- Ability to set clear goals and take ownership of results.
Location: Gurgaon (Candidates from Delhi or Gurgaon are preferred)
