Role & responsibilities:

  • Conduct keyword and competitor research and analysis to understand the client’s landscape.
  • Provide on-site recommendations to improve SEO performance.
  • Analyze website traffic and other metrics using SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console (GSC), and Looker Studio.
  • Perform technical SEO audits and provide recommendations using Screaming Frog and similar crawling tools such as Lumar.
  • Collaborate with the content and digital PR (DRP) teams to ensure SEO best practices are followed.
  • Stay up to date with the latest SEO trends and algorithm updates.

Qualification & skills requirements

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Entry-Level SEO Executive. Ideally, you have a strong interest in digital marketing and SEO, and are eager to learn and grow in this field. In this role, you will support several small clients with guidance from senior team members, gaining both SEO knowledge and the ability to work as part of a team towards a bigger objective. Our ideal candidate will have an understanding of the basics of SEO and a desire and ability to learn, and will absorb new skills and knowledge like a sponge. We’re looking for people with logical and analytical minds who can show some initiative and take pride in their work.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Basic understanding of how search engines work and familiarity with technical and content-led SEO strategies and techniques.
  • Ability to implement SEO recommendations.
  • Proficiency in Excel and a high standard of written and spoken English.
  • A fast learner who is committed to a career in Search.
  • Must have the right to work and live in the UK.

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with eCommerce sites.
  • Any previous experience in an agency or working with clients.
  • Basic understanding of HTML and CSS.
  • Any experience in a digital agency and/or as an in-house SEO.
