Job Summary: The SEO Team Lead will be responsible for developing and executing SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings, increase website traffic, and enhance user engagement. This role involves leading a team of SEO specialists, coordinating with content creators, and staying updated with the latest SEO trends and algorithm changes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive SEO strategies to drive organic traffic growth.
- Lead and mentor a team of SEO specialists, analysts, and content strategists.
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and technical SEO audits.
- Optimize on-page and off-page SEO elements, including meta tags, URL structures, and backlink strategies.
- Collaborate with content, development, and marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated across all digital efforts.
- Monitor and analyze SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO platforms.
- Stay up to date with search engine algorithm updates and industry trends.
- Develop and oversee link-building strategies and outreach efforts.
- Prepare and present detailed performance reports and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot SEO issues and provide actionable solutions to improve search rankings.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in SEO, with at least 1 year in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proven track record of improving search rankings and driving organic traffic.
- Strong knowledge of SEO tools, such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, and Google Analytics.
- Experience with technical SEO, including site structure, schema markup, and page speed optimization.
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in relation to SEO.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
