Clinical Coach (Quality Improvement)
What we are looking for! We are looking for an elder loving individual to take up the assignment of Clinical Coach (Quality Improvement) with excellent skills in coaching clinical skills, mentoring, conducting clinical drills and skill sessions.
Your daily responsibilities include supporting the district quality team, and the project team to support the development of clinical competencies and skills of facility clinical and managerial staff. You will be responsible for coaching and mentoring health care professionals in the application of quality improvement methodologies to enhance clinical processes and patient outcome, devising and establishing clinical protocols, procedures, standards and specification and support the team in undertaking periodic assessment with objective of getting National Quality Assurance Certification for the health facilities.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clinical staff to assess current practices, identify areas for improvement, and develop action plans.
- Provide hands-on coaching to healthcare teams in the implementation of quality improvement initiatives, including data collection, analysis, and process optimization.
- Offer guidance on the appropriate use of quality improvement tools and methodologies to address clinical challenges.
- Foster a culture of open communication and learning, encouraging healthcare professionals to share insights and best practices.
- Conduct regular performance reviews with mentees / QI team, providing constructive feedback and guidance for growth.
- Coordinate and deliver training sessions, workshops, and presentations on quality improvement concepts and techniques.
- Assist in the development of performance metrics and indicators to measure the impact of quality improvement efforts.
- Monitor the progress of quality improvement projects, track key performance indicators, and report outcomes to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other Clinical Coach-Mentors and quality improvement teams to share knowledge and experiences.
- Support and Implement district quality improvement program (NQAS) in the district; in collaboration with the district public health system and SCHOOL β Technical support unit.
- Support the development of elder friendly services within the district in alignments with SCHOOLβs flagship initiative.
- Any other task assigned by technical support unit (SCHOOL).
Required Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
- (a) Qualification: Applicants must possess at least a degree in AYUSH/ BHMS/MSc. Nursing or BSc. Nursing with experience (3 years) in clinical coaching and mentoring.
- (b) Experience:
- a. Essential: Applicant must possess a minimum three of experience in clinic practice/ clinical teaching – coaching
- b. Desirable: Preference shall be given to candidates with experience in Health Care Quality or Formal Quality of a quality system
- c. Skills and Competencies:
- a. Sound knowledge of clinical coaching β mentoring and Understanding of concepts of Quality to the hospitals
- b. Knowledge of English and Hindi both written and oral;
- c. Effective communication skills, with demonstrated ability to talk and listen to people and build rapport with them
- d. Computer proficiency and familiarity with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
