About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Packing Supervisor to manage and oversee daily packing operations. The role involves ensuring that products are packed efficiently, accurately, and as per company quality standards. You will also lead the packing team and coordinate with different departments for smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities
Packing Operations
- Supervise day-to-day packing activities
- Ensure products are packed as per company standards and dispatch requirements
- Monitor productivity and ensure targets are met on time
Team Management
- Assign tasks to packing staff and monitor performance
- Maintain discipline and ensure company policies are followed
- Train and guide team members on packing procedures
Quality Control
- Inspect packed goods to maintain quality standards
- Ensure correct labeling, packaging materials, and quantities
- Identify and report any issues or defects
Coordination
- Work closely with production and warehouse teams
- Ensure smooth communication to avoid delays in dispatch
Material Management
- Monitor stock of packing materials like cartons, tapes, and labels
- Inform concerned teams about shortages or requirements
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain daily packing records and reports
- Share performance and output reports with management
Safety & Maintenance
- Follow workplace safety guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and proper organization in the packing area
Requirements
Education:
- Graduate or Diploma in any relevant field
Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in packing, production, or warehouse supervision
Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of packing processes and quality standards
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, reporting)
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Strong time management and attention to detail
