Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Primary Recruitment Teacher (PRT) for Mathematics to join our school community. The PRT Mathematics teacher will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment where young students can engage with and excel in mathematical concepts. This individual should be committed to fostering curiosity, confidence, and a love for learning in students, helping them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lesson Planning & Delivery: Develop and implement engaging and effective lesson plans that adhere to the curriculum standards. Teach various mathematical topics, such as numbers, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, shapes, fractions, time, and measurements, in an interactive and enjoyable manner.
• Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a productive, positive, and disciplined classroom environment. Address students’ behavioral and academic challenges with patience and empathy.
• Assessment & Evaluation: Conduct regular assessments of students’ progress through quizzes, assignments, and projects. Provide timely feedback and identify areas for improvement.
• Individualized Support: Identify and support students with different learning needs, providing additional help or differentiated instruction when necessary to ensure all students can succeed.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other teachers, staff, and parents to support student development and address individual needs. Participate in faculty meetings, training sessions, and school events.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of students’ academic progress, attendance, and behavior. Ensure that these records are up-to-date and comply with school policies.
• Encouraging Growth: Encourage a growth mindset among students, celebrating achievements and guiding them through challenges to build resilience and self-confidence in learning.

Requirements:

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (B.Ed. preferred).
• Experience: Previous experience teaching primary school mathematics is preferred but not required. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
• Skills:
  • Strong understanding of elementary mathematical concepts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, creativity, and the ability to engage students with varying learning styles.
  • Familiarity with primary school curricula and teaching methods.
  • Proficiency in using educational technology and resources for teaching purposes.
