Job Overview: A Telecaller is responsible for contacting potential customers, clients, or leads via phone to promote products, services, or gather information. They play a crucial role in generating new business opportunities, answering queries, and ensuring a positive experience for potential or existing customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound calls to potential customers or leads from provided databases.
  • Promote and sell products/services via phone calls, ensuring clear communication and persuasive language.
  • Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Provide detailed information about the products and services offered.
  • Handle customer objections and address queries to maintain positive customer relations.
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions, sales, and leads in the CRM system.
  • Follow up with leads who have shown interest in services or products.
  • Meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets related to calls and sales.
  • Schedule appointments or demonstrations for the sales team, if necessary.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by offering excellent service and resolving issues or complaints promptly.
  • Keep up-to-date with product knowledge, market trends, and competitors.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree is a plus).
  • Experience: Previous experience in telecalling, customer service, or sales (preferably).
  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
    • Strong persuasion and negotiation skills.
    • Good listening skills and the ability to build rapport.
    • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, CRM systems, etc.).
    • Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
    • Patience and a positive attitude.
    • Multitasking and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a call center or telesales environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry products and services.
  • Fluency in multiple languages is an advantage.
