Student Counselor

Job Description:

• Handling Student Inquiries: Answer calls from prospective students and provide information on courses, admission criteria, fees, scholarships, and campus facilities.
• Making Outbound Calls: Reach out to potential students based on leads from online inquiries, school visits, or college marketing campaigns.
• Follow-ups: Regularly follow up with interested students to guide them through the admission process.
• Counseling & Guidance: Help students choose suitable programs based on their interests and career goals.
• Maintaining Records: Keep an updated database of inquiries, follow-ups, and admission conversions.
• Providing Admission Assistance: Guide students in completing application forms, document submission, and fee payment.
• Meeting Targets: Work towards monthly admission goals set by the college administration.
• Promoting College Events: Inform students about open houses, admission fairs, and campus tours.
• Collecting Feedback: Gather insights from students and parents to improve the admission process.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Minimum high school diploma (10+2); a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication in English and local languages.
• Interpersonal Skills: Friendly and persuasive approach to student counseling.
• Sales & Persuasion Skills: Ability to convince students and parents about the benefits of the college programs.
• Computer Knowledge: Basic proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, and data entry.

Work Environment:

Office-based or work-from-home setup. Regular interaction with students, parents, and admission officers. Performance-based incentives may be available for successful enrollments.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
