Telesales Executive Job Description

A Telesales Executive generates leads, makes outbound calls to potential customers, understands their needs, and closes sales, while also maintaining customer relationships and meeting sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generating Leads: Identifying and prospecting potential customers through various methods, including cold calling and research.
  • Making Outbound Calls: Reaching out to potential customers to introduce products or services, understand their needs, and qualify leads.
  • Closing Sales: Persuading customers to purchase products or services, negotiating terms, and following up on leads.
  • Building Customer Relationships: Maintaining ongoing contact with existing customers to build rapport, address concerns, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
  • Meeting Sales Targets: Consistently achieving or exceeding predetermined sales targets and quotas.
  • Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and performance data in a CRM system.
  • Product Knowledge: Staying up-to-date with company products, services, and industry trends.
