Maintaining accurate financial records for the hotel, including accounts payable and receivable.
Assisting in the preparation of the hotel’s budget and financial forecasts.
Generating invoices for services provided and managing the billing process.
Preparing financial statements and reports for management, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
Managing the hotel’s payroll system, ensuring that employees are paid accurately and on time.
Monitoring and controlling expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Coordinating with auditors and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Handling tax-related matters, including filing tax returns and ensuring the hotel complies with tax laws.
Analyzing financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Managing relationships with suppliers and vendors, including negotiating contracts and payments.
Reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies.
Managing the hotel’s cash flow and ensuring the availability of funds for daily operations.
Using accounting software to input and track financial data.
Interacting with guests, clients, and other departments to address financial inquiries and provide assistance.
Working closely with other departments, such as the front desk and procurement, to ensure smooth financial operations.
Skills & Requirements:
- Hotel Management and/or skill relevant education preferred
- Pleasing personality and good communication skills
- Prior relevant hospitality experience in position of application.
- Must be open to joining at any of the AM Hotel Kollection locations (AM Hotel Kollection is now at 11 locations & growing)
