Job Summary: Taxila Business School is seeking a professional, courteous, and responsible Female Staff Member to fill the dual role of Front Desk Executive and Girls Hostel Warden. This position requires managing reception, handling administrative tasks, ensuring smooth office operations, and providing care and supervision to Girls’ Hostel residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reception & Front Desk Management:
- Greet and assist visitors, students, and faculty members professionally.
- Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and inquiries efficiently.
- Maintain the reception area in a clean and presentable condition.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, couriers, and deliveries.
- Administrative Support:
- Maintain visitor records and manage appointment schedules.
- Assist in documentation, filing, and data entry.
- Coordinate with various departments to support office operations.
- Assist in organizing meetings, events, and other administrative tasks.
- Office Coordination:
- Maintain office supplies and ensure availability of necessary materials.
- Support HR and administrative teams in daily operations.
- Assist in coordinating travel and accommodation arrangements for guests and faculty when required.
- Hostel Warden Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the Girls’ Hostel, ensuring a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.
- Supervise hostel activities, ensure discipline, and provide guidance and support to students.
- Act as the primary point of contact for students in the hostel for any concerns or issues.
- Ensure the hostel rules and regulations are followed, and address any violations promptly.
- Coordinate with the administration regarding hostel maintenance, student welfare, and other concerns.
- Organize and supervise hostel events, activities, and meetings as needed.
- Maintain records of students residing in the hostel and manage room allocations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role (freshers with good communication skills may also apply).
- Prior experience in hostel management or residential life will be an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email management.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- A pleasant and professional demeanor with a customer-centric approach.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills to manage both front desk and hostel responsibilities effectively.
