Job Overview: We are on the lookout for a skilled Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Backend Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust server-side applications that power our web and mobile platforms. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you will craft efficient, scalable, and secure solutions that align with our business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Backend Development:
  • Develop and sustain server-side web applications utilizing PHP and related technologies.
  • Employ programming languages such as Php, CodeIgniter, JavaScript, Python, Java, Ruby, or Node.js to architect, build, and maintain server-side applications.
  • Implement RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems.
• Database Management:
  • Oversee and optimize databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, phpmyadmin) to uphold data integrity and ensure efficient access.
  • Create and execute database queries, stored procedures, and migrations.
• Scalability and Performance:
  • Guarantee the scalability and performance of backend systems to accommodate increasing user loads.
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks, continually seeking optimization opportunities.
• Security:
  • Implement security best practices to safeguard sensitive data and preempt security vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct thorough security audits and promptly address potential vulnerabilities.
• Integration and Third-Party Services:
  • Integrate third-party services and APIs to augment application functionality.
  • Ensure seamless integration with external systems.
• Version Control and Collaboration:
  • Leverage version control systems (e.g., Git) for collaborative development.
  • Work in tandem with front-end developers, QA engineers, and other team members to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Testing and Debugging:
  • Write unit tests and conduct debugging to guarantee the reliability of backend code.
  • Perform comprehensive testing to identify and rectify issues.
• Documentation:
  • Maintain clear and up-to-date documentation for code, APIs, and system architecture.
  • Ensure that team members can readily understand and work with the backend codebase.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Backend Developer, showcasing a robust portfolio of past projects.
• Proficiency in one or more backend programming languages (e.g., Php, CodeIgniter, JavaScript, Python, Java, Ruby, Node.js).
• Experience with database management and optimization.
• Knowledge of RESTful API design and integration.
• Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Hostinger, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is advantageous.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
