Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Processing Specialist to join our Aerial Survey Company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing, analysing, and managing geospatial and survey data collected from aerial platforms. This role involves working with cutting-edge technology, GIS software, and remote sensing tools to ensure high-quality data output for various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and analyse aerial survey data, Drone/ DGPS data, including LiDAR, photogrammetry, and multispectral imagery.
• Use GIS and remote sensing software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) to clean, format, and interpret geospatial datasets.
• Develop and maintain data processing workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with surveyors, GIS analysts, and project managers to ensure data integrity and project completion.
• Quality check processed data to ensure accuracy and adherence to client requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation and metadata for all datasets.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processing and software.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in aerial surveying, GIS, and data processing techniques.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Geomatics, Geospatial Science, Remote Sensing, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) and remote sensing tools.
• Experience with LiDAR processing software (e.g., LAStools, TerraScan, Global Mapper).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in aerial survey data processing.
• Familiarity with UAV (drone) data processing techniques.
• Experience in machine learning applications for geospatial analysis.
