About the Job: We are seeking Python – QML developers with strong object-oriented programming abilities. The selected candidate will work as a member of a creative team that is in charge of every stage of the ongoing development of applications for the Ubuntu Touch platform, from initial specification to development, bug fixing, and launch.
Preferred Skills:
- Good knowledge of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and experience with Python is a must
- Thrive in a highly collaborative, fluid, fast-paced open office environment
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies like QML/QT designing
- Strong knowledge of the common web server exploits and their solutions
- Familiarity with the limitations of Python as a platform and its workarounds
- Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages
- Thorough knowledge of code versioning tools, such as Git
