Job Summary: The In-Patient Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of in-patient care, ensuring smooth hospital admissions, timely communication between departments, and exceptional patient service. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a patient-centric approach to healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Admission & Coordination
- Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges efficiently.
- Ensure all required documents (insurance, consent forms, medical records) are collected and processed.
- Assist patients and their families with admission procedures and hospital policies.
- Communication & Liaison
- Act as a bridge between doctors, nurses, administrative staff, and patients.
- Provide regular updates to patients and their families about treatment plans and hospital procedures.
- Handle patient queries and escalate concerns to the appropriate departments.
- Bed Management & Scheduling
- Monitor bed availability and manage room assignments based on patient requirements.
- Coordinate with the housekeeping team to ensure beds and rooms are cleaned and prepared for new patients.
- Billing & Insurance Coordination
- Ensure accurate and timely billing for in-patient services.
- Assist patients with insurance claims, approvals, and reimbursements.
- Liaise with the finance team to address billing discrepancies or patient concerns.
- Patient Experience & Support
- Provide emotional and logistical support to patients and their families.
- Ensure patient feedback is collected and addressed to improve hospital services.
- Work closely with the nursing and support staff to enhance patient satisfaction.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in hospital administration, patient coordination, or healthcare customer service.
- Strong knowledge of hospital operations, medical terminology, and patient care procedures.
- Proficiency in hospital management systems and MS Office applications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle patient concerns with empathy.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a multi-specialty hospital or healthcare facility.
Work Environment:
- Hospital-based role requiring interaction with multiple departments.
- Rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays, as per hospital requirements.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 – ₹35,000.00 per month
