PGT Computer Science Teacher

A PGT Computer Science teacher is responsible for teaching senior secondary students (classes 11 and 12) subjects like Programming (Python, Java, C++), Data Structures, Algorithms, Database Management, and Networking.

Responsibilities:

• Design lesson plans.
• Conduct practical lab sessions.
• Assess students through tests and projects.
• Mentor them for competitive exams like JEE and Olympiads.
• Integrate the latest IT trends.
• Introduce emerging fields like AI and Cybersecurity.
• Manage school computer labs.
• Supervise tech clubs.
• Organize coding competitions.
• Support IT-related events.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree (MSc/MCA/M.Tech in Computer Science or IT)
• Preferably a B.Ed.
• Strong programming skills
• Excellent communication abilities
• Classroom management expertise
