We are seeking an experienced and dynamic PGT Computer Science teacher to join our faculty team. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of computer science concepts, excellent pedagogical skills, and the ability to inspire and guide students in higher secondary education. The PGT Computer Science teacher will be responsible for teaching computer science at the senior secondary level (grades 11 and 12), following the CBSE curriculum.

Activity list and Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching & Instruction:
• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Computer Science, including subjects such as Programming (C, C++, Java, Python), Data Structures, Database Management Systems (DBMS), Software Engineering, and more.
• Prepare, plan, and execute lesson plans that meet the requirements of the CBSE curriculum.
• Implement a variety of teaching strategies to ensure the comprehension and retention of computer science concepts by students.
• Use advanced technology and educational tools to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
• Assessment & Evaluation:
• Design and implement assignments, quizzes, practical exams, and projects to assess students’ understanding and application of concepts.
• Prepare and administer periodic and final examinations as per the CBSE schedule.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students, identifying areas for improvement and offering guidance.
• Curriculum Development:
• Contribute to the development and periodic review of the computer science curriculum, ensuring its relevance and alignment with the latest technological trends.
• Design and organize practical classes, programming labs, and project work to enhance students’ hands-on skills.
• Integrate real-world applications of computer science to demonstrate its relevance and importance.
• Student Support:
• Provide additional support to students needing help with understanding difficult concepts through extra classes or one-on-one tutoring.
• Encourage and guide students to participate in coding competitions, hackathons, and other tech-related extracurricular activities.
• Professional Development:
• Keep abreast of new developments in the field of computer science and educational technologies.
• Attend workshops, seminars, and conferences to stay updated with the latest teaching methodologies and advancements in computer science.
• Extra-Curricular Engagement:
• Encourage students to take part in tech-based clubs, events, and workshops to develop their interest and skills in computer science.
• Organize and supervise projects, coding challenges, and workshops that focus on enhancing practical skills.

Educational Qualification:

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (MCA, M.Sc. Computer Science).

Experience:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of teaching experience in computer science at the senior secondary level (grades 11 and 12).
• Previous experience in teaching at a CBSE school is highly desirable.
