Job Overview: A Telecaller is responsible for contacting potential customers, clients, or leads via phone to promote products, services, or gather information. They play a crucial role in generating new business opportunities, answering queries, and ensuring a positive experience for potential or existing customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make outbound calls to potential customers or leads from provided databases.
- Promote and sell products/services via phone calls, ensuring clear communication and persuasive language.
- Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries.
- Provide detailed information about the products and services offered.
- Handle customer objections and address queries to maintain positive customer relations.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions, sales, and leads in the CRM system.
- Follow up with leads who have shown interest in services or products.
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets related to calls and sales.
- Schedule appointments or demonstrations for the sales team, if necessary.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by offering excellent service and resolving issues or complaints promptly.
- Keep up-to-date with product knowledge, market trends, and competitors.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree is a plus).
- Experience: Previous experience in telecalling, customer service, or sales (preferably).
- Skills:
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong persuasion and negotiation skills.
- Good listening skills and the ability to build rapport.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, CRM systems, etc.).
- Ability to work in a target-driven environment.
- Patience and a positive attitude.
- Multitasking and time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a call center or telesales environment.
- Knowledge of relevant industry products and services.
- Fluency in multiple languages is an advantage.
