Job Overview

Corewave Tech Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Software Tester to join its Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate should have around 1.5 years of experience in manual testing and a strong understanding of software quality processes.

This role offers the opportunity to work on live web and mobile application projects while collaborating closely with developers and project teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications.
• Design, create, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.
• Identify, document, and track software bugs using bug-tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers and project managers to resolve issues efficiently.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and user interface testing.
• Verify bug fixes and ensure application quality before release.
• Participate in requirement analysis and project review discussions.
• Ensure software products meet both business and technical requirements.

Required Skills

• Good understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Hands-on experience in Manual Testing.
• Basic knowledge of API Testing and Database Testing.
• Familiarity with bug-tracking tools such as Jira, Trello, or Bugzilla.
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and reporting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of automation testing tools will be an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative team environment.
