Job Overview
Asian Paints is hiring an Executive II – Sales Engineering (Admixtures) for its Sales & Marketing division. The role focuses on project sales, market development, technical support, and business expansion for admixture products. The ideal candidate should have strong sales coordination skills, technical understanding of construction chemicals, and the ability to build long-term relationships with project stakeholders and RMCs.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Identify and evaluate market opportunities for admixture products in project sales.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of private and government projects along with RMC accounts.
- Generate leads through project site visits, dealers, applicators, and project stakeholders.
- Conduct commercial negotiations with decision-makers to secure business orders.
- Promote the right product mix and ensure inclusion in project BOQs.
- Coordinate with supply chain teams for timely material delivery at project sites.
- Ensure smooth payment collection processes from distributors and clients.
Technical Support
- Provide technical assistance before and after sales for admixture products at project sites.
- Coordinate with Concrete Technologists to conduct product trials and resolve on-site technical issues.
- Support on-site sampling activities to build customer trust and product confidence.
Market Development
- Monitor competitor activities and conduct detailed market mapping on ongoing projects.
- Identify and engage medium to large RMCs, consultants, and industry stakeholders for market expansion.
- Build long-term professional relationships through product training sessions and site support.
- Conduct presentations and product briefings for consultants and specifiers to generate business opportunities.
Training & Product Awareness
- Support RMCs and clients with practical applications of admixture products.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to share training materials, brochures, and product collaterals with applicators and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with product training plans and customer engagement initiatives.
Market Intelligence & Product Feedback
- Assist marketing teams in product trials and competitor product analysis.
- Identify potential non-APL clients and convert them through product demonstrations and technical support.
- Share market feedback and product trends with research and technology teams for future product development.
